u-he Releases BAZILLE 1.0 – A Modular Synthesizer Plugin

bazille_640x348

u-he released their new modular synthesizer plugin today – BAZILLE 1.0.

We are happy to announce the release of Bazille 1.0 for Mac OS X and Windows (VST2, AU & AAX formats – 32bit & 64bit).

Here is a demo video. http://youtu.be/raxOQm03giA.

Bazille is a large modular system combining digital oscillators with analogue-style filters and modelled effects, with a flexibility that only modular patching can provide.

After ACE, the second spawn of our ongoing 'Berlin Modular' project, this one is a very different, much larger beast…

Those in the know have been waiting for this since 2009. Read Urs' own story here.

As a HUGE fan of u-he’s ACE (see my “u-he ACE Tutorial: Patch Cables 101” video) which is all over my last two albums – I’m pretty excited about this release.

I did dabble and post out on some early betas. Here was one of the first patches from INIT I created and posted to soundloud. Fun Stuff!

In this patch, OSC2 freq is modulating OSC 1. OSC1 phase distortion is being modulated with an LFO run through a lag generator. OSC1 is routed to filter and the cutoff is being modulated with the morphing sequencer. LFO2 is driving Factalize (kind of like sync). All the movement is in the patch. I'm just holding down a single key in different octaves.

Bazille’s special introductory price of $89 (+ VAT in the EU) has been extended until October 15. After that, the regular price is $129 (+ VAT in the EU).
