Junea – New Album by Electronic Music Artist and Thereminst May Roosevelt

may-roosevelt-Junea

Spreading the word about this terrific release by May Roosevelt. Enjoy!

“May Roosevelt marks her return in 2017 with her new album titled «Junea», coming out on October 23rd via Inner Ear.

Junea is a heroine of the modern digital world, where reality meets fiction through bridges made of electronic sounds and pixels. Musically, it could be said that she is an alter ego of May Roosevelt, adding new qualities to the artist’s existing musical identity.

In the world of Junea synthesizers rule, creating a multi-layered sound environment of crystal sounds and rhythmic beats. Ethereal vocals and encrypted lyrics lead to a parallel dreamy, three-dimensional universe that mirrors the artist’s exploration into new musical coordinates.”

New Album – Miss American Vampire – Songs on Theremin by Victoria Lundy

Miss-american-vampire-cover

My good friend, frequent collaborator, and excellent Thereminist  Victoria Lundy has released her debut solo album – Miss American Vampire – Songs on Theremin by Victoria Lundy. Just in time for Halloween, the album is available on Bandcamp https://victorialundy.bandcamp.com. Also, when you buy on Bandcamp, you get a PDF with four panels of album art.

Disturbing experimental mood pieces, melodic theremin, and gothic horror.

Taught by the heav’nly Muse to venture down

Note – I got to hear this album performed live last night in Denver and it was real treat. Here is a teaser video for that show. I animated Victoria’s original art in Resolume. This also gives you a sense for the live visuals during the concert.
